I found a reference to Seneca Chain Company in Mansfield, Ohio from 1901 - 1907.

I know that Charles and Ida purchased a home in Huntington, W VA in 1918.

My mother remembers that Charles bought a new Willy's Knight (spelling?) in 1924 to drive to Seattle where the company was moving. She thinks that the company later moved to San Francisco. Eventually Charles and Ida retired to Huntington.

Charles corresponded with relatives in Germany. My mother remembers going to the corner store with him to have the letters translated by someone who read German. He told her that he had forgotten how to read it.

I have not found my g-grandfather and family in the 1900 census. I think they were in the Akron area at that time. Could you let me know where you found them? I believe that Charles' middle name was Joseph. However, I do not have that information with me today. I will check and let you know.

If Charles and Henry are brothers, are we third cousins? If so, there are 11 third cousins from that part of the family, most of them in the Columbus Ohio area.
