dear charlotte,hello again,i have written before.the reason for this letter concerns both irene mehigan and you,as you both have doodys in your familys.i have recieved an intercept from bob meehan of dunwoody,ga.to the meighan page."as you may remember ,according to info from the mallow heritage center my g-g-g grandfather daniel mihigan married judith m urphy in the r.c.church ofcastletownroche,co. cork,on 2-4-1837.i asked the mallow center again to see if they could trace it back further to connect with the mehigans in kilcoran farm,tubrid,co.tipperary especially jean joseph,the son of guilaume mehigan and charlotte therese boitel,who came to kilcoran as an infant circa.1766,martina aherne of mallow center says" i have searched all46 parishes of the dioceseof cloyne[cork city]for a record of daniel mehegan within the years1800-1825[killavullen parish]6-30-1811,daniel mehegon,parents daniel mehegon andcatherine campion,sponsors=william mullony and mary murphy[rathcormac parish]11-22-1818 daniel mihigan,parents=daniel mihigan and catherine doody[glangaul address]sponsors=patrick lane+mary murphy[killvullen parish]1-5-1812danielmehegon,parents=daniel mehegon and mary magner,sponsors=thomas clancy and mary cunningham"good luck,jim mehigan
