My name is John Helms Stone, Jr. and I have been notified that my DNA matches a Bruce William Meharg, that is 33 out of 37 markers. I have never heard of the name "Mehard" much less know anyone by that name. My question, where does that leave me and what would be my next step. My father apparently changed his name in 1911 when he went into the Navy, from what, we don't know. Thanks Find me at heaveanchor@comcast.net
