Hello Everyone,
I am trying to track my husbands GGrandmother Louisa a. or
c.Baker Turner.She was b.1831 GA.She married William M.
Turner.Her Father was Nicholas Baker and his father was
Obadiah Baker.The mystery is this: I have found our Louisa
on the 1850 census District 47,Jones co. georgia,she is
with, Uriah Meeks,his wife Lucy,lists both of them as 65yrs. old. With them is Louisa Baker age 19 b.Caldwell
ga. and a little sister, Margaret Baker,age4yrs.also a Sarah Meeks,age 16yrs.I am trying to make a Baker-Meeks
connection.Apparently Louisa has not yet married her spouse
William M. Turner b.1821,Ga.
If anyone has any info. on these people please contact me.I
will be so thankful, and would love to help any of you that
I can.
