I see much mention of an Ezra Meeker, and I'm wondering if this is a coincidence. If anyone has any information on these guy's families, I would sure appreciate it.
My grandfather's name was John E Meeker b 11/3/1914 Bartlesville, OK d 9/21/1998, Lakewood, CO. He married Maurine Ruth High b 5/8/1914 d 11/5/2001. (They are my mother's parents.)
His father's name was John Ezra Meeker, b 4/19/1889 Missouri, d 10/30/1918. He was married to Eva Pearl Miller b 6/24/1890 d 2/15/1986 Denver, CO
His father's name was Ezra Gilman Meeker b 1850 Missouri.
There seems to be a lot of Ezra's, I'm just wondering how I tie into them. Before my grandmother died, I tried to get as much information about my grandfather's history but it didn't seem to make much sense. There was mention of hsi father being an Indian agent, but she didn't know anything more than that. I also have seen here where the Meeker in Meeker, CO was an Indian Agent as well.
