I have a Thomas Mee born 21 December 1848 in the Athleague baptisms record, Co Roscommon. His parents were Martin Mee and Mary Mulvachill. Creggs is within the Athleague parish area, although geographically it could be in Galway depending on where you draw the lines! It is towards the west side of Roscommon, anyway. Although I think this is too early for your Thomas, it may be a family member: there are siblings I have also found.

I am interested in the conjunction of Mee and Roan. My McGovern/Edwards family comes from Castlecoote/Fuerty in the same parish, and I have Mee connections I am trying to unravel, PLUS a connection to John Roan who went from the area and settled eventually in Nebraska. Should we take this further?
