Hi Larry - I have a Wm. MEDLAND b 1843 prob. Marhamchurch, Cornwall, England as that is where his father, James was b 1798. James marr. 1830, there, Anna MILL b c 1801 Eng. They had other children: Ann, James, Judith, Sarah, and Thos. Have you any idea where your Wm. was from??? or do any names fit?? James father was also James b 1765.

I have no further info on Wm. to know if he immigrated or not but a grandson of James b 1765, Thomas B. Medland b 1825, migrated to Wayne Co., PA c 1854 (my line). An 1871 Eng. census says James b 1798 was a farmer so could have raised horses.
