Richard FitzAlan 10th/3 Earl of Arundel (restored 1331 from his uncle. .. assumed add title of 9th Earl of Surrey: known as 'Copped Hat'... m1 1320/1 Isabell Despencer (annulled) issue bastardised by papal annulment 1344 m 2 his mistress Eleanor, dau of 3 Earl of Lancaster (ggs of Henry III) and widow of 2nd Lord (Baron)Beaumont (this I assume is your Eleanor Plantagenet of the House of Lancaster)
Son. Richard FitzAlan 11th/4th Earl of Arundel and 11th Earl of Surrey b 1346 m 1359 Elizabeth, dau of William Bohun, Earl of Northampton. One or two sons. There is some complication with mother of these sons. But Elizabeth apprears to have had
1. Thomas b 13 Oct 1381 12/5 Earl married 1405 Beatrice illgt. dtr of John 1 of Portugal. He 'died sp 13 Oct 1415 shortly after the capture of Harfleur at the outset of the Angicourt Campain, when the Earldom of Surrey is deemed to have reverted to the Crown'. (Not be farmilar with Burke's system I am assuming the the repeat of 1 is lst surviving heir.)
1. Elizabeth m 1378 Sir William de Montague d sp 1382, m2 thomas de Mowbray, m3 Sir Robert Goushill had issue, m4 by 1414 Sir Gerard Usflete and d 1425.
2 Joan b 1375 m Sir William Beauchamp d 1435 leaving issue
3 Margaret m Sir Rowland Lenthan of Hampton, Herefs.
'4 Alice FitzAllen married by March 1392 4th Lord (Baron) Cherleton (dsp 19 Oct 1401)"
Did Alice and her brother Thomas die the same time??
