Hi Jim,
I would be very interested in seeing your sources both for the Champernoun of Ilfracombe and for the Tracy families.

Actually the question has recently come up on soc.genealogy.medieval forum found at
http://groups.google.com/group/soc.genealogy.medieval/topics?lnk=srg

in the thread Champernoun and Solers Families
( http://groups.google.com/group/soc.genealogy.medieval/browse_thread/thread/2a63e22bc7b01069# )

Basically, Douglas Richardson has questioned whether Henry Champernoun is a son of Jordon Champernoun who married Mabel de Caen, or is he a brother. Since you have already seem to have put some research into these families I would be interested in your thoughts.

Joe
