Dear Renee, Welcome to the group of ‘real genealogist’ who are interested in the truth. You can try to tell them but they will probably ignore you. I recall one comment, “You just have not found the right records yet.” Others just say, “oh” and continue the nonsense. The way I see it you can do nothing or publish in a well-respected genealogical journal. I have chosen not to do the later – at least not today. That will probably be ignored also. I have ’researched the family in England.’ What does that mean? I actually went to Austria and researched, then hired a prominent genealogist who continued with my research. My family still disregarded my findings. This nonsense is now on the web! No need to get upset. It isn’t going to change. I doubt my comments have helped you but I tried. Cheers!
