I am a descendant of Richard More, which has been recognized by the the Mayflower Society.
It has been proven that Richard More had royal ancestry which has been documented by the Mayflower Society and other organizations. Much of his royal and historic ancestry from the Middle Ages has been detailed in recent books by Douglas Richardson - Plantagenet Ancestry and Magna Carta Ancestry. His ancestry is also documented in other books.
His ancestry includes lineage from Charlemagne, the ancient Saxon kings and the royalty of England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, France, Spain, etc., and also that of many historic famous persons from those places and elsewhere in Europe.
Important historic events among his ancestors include the Norman invasion of England (Battle of Hastings) in 1066 and the signing of Magna Carta by King John in 1215.
I have researched and documented his ancestry for several years and can share my research with interested persons.
Additionally, I have researched and documented another ancestor with proven royal ancestry who has also had his lineage detailed in the Douglas Richardson books - Rev. William Skepper, an English immigrant who arrived in Mass. in 1639. I can also share what I have documented about his royal and historic ancestry, which in many cases parallels that of Richard More.
