According to my copy of "Magna Carta Ancestry", both Henry and his brother, Sir Humphrey De Bohun, 8th Earl of Hereford, etc, husband of Elizabeth of England, fought at Bannockburn, where Humphrey was taken prisoner, and later exchanged for Elizabeth de Burgh, wife of Robert de Brus ( Robert the Bruce). Humphrey got envolved in the rebellion of Thomas Plantagenet against his cousin Edward II, King of England, although he was married to Elizabrth, sister of Edward II, and was killed at the Battle of Boroughbridge, March 16, 1321/22. Humphrey and Henry are the sons of Humphrey De Bohun, 7th Earl of Hereford, etc., born about Sept. 1248, married on or before 7/20/1275 to Maud De Fiennes (or Fienles).
