Thanks for taking the time to answer my question.
I really appreciate the link to medieval genealogy!
I was just reading about the Peasant's Revolt in a book about the Knight Templars and saw that many Church records were hauled into the streets and destroyed in a deserved wave of passionate anger.So,many records in the areas they vandalized are sadly lost.Hence my question.
If it existed as such in medieval times my interest is Hingham,Norfolk,England.
I'm appreciating more and more as one becames serious about genealogy they need to become historians as well.
