This is the Patent roll entry concerning the wardship of Thomas Fastolf. April 15, 1448 Appointment, on the mainprise of William Mynours of Berkshire, esquire, and John Grene of London, gentleman, of Robert Constable to the keeping of all the lands late of John Fastolf in Suffolk, in the king's hands by his death and by reason of the minority of Thomas his son and heir, to hold during the said minority from the said death, rendering 100 marks therefor. Vacated because surrendered, the king in his 31st year (1451) having appointed Philip Wentworth to the same. However, as I said before, Sir John Fastolf gained the wardship in 1453, with the help of John Paston. Notify Administrator about this message?
