In the Visitation of Norfolk, Alice Fastolf is the daughter and heir of John Fastolf. Elsewhere in the visitation, Ursula Mondford is the wife of John Fastolf, and Jane Fastolf is a daughter of John Fastolf. I can't say if these are all the same John Fastolf, or even if they are contemporaries, because no dates are given, but it is not Sir John Fastolf.

In the Paston letters, a John Fastolf of Cowhaw (in Suffolk)is mentioned. He was the father of Thomas Fastolf, a kinsman of Sir John's. Sir John was granted the wardship of Thomas in 1453, so Thomas's father must have died before that, probably a few years before, because there had already been a lengthy dispute about the wardship.
