Ana Cujan Princess of Holland

My grandma Maitland claimed that her mother is descended from Princess Ana Cujan of Holland. Ana fell in love with a Welsh coachman and they took off to New Amsterdam in the 1500 or 1600's. She was disowned by her family for that incident. Ana was one of the wealthiest people in New York at the time and is buried in New York City.

There was a courtcase on the fact that there were those who owed Ana some money but never paid her back. The judge ordered that descendants of those who owed Ana Cujan money pay the descendants of Ana back of what their ancestor owed.

My grandma Maitland told me that one of her mother's parents was paid $100. $100 was paid to each of the descendants of Ana and that was it.

The problem is that my grandma Maitland NEVER KNEW HOW SHE DESCENDS FROM ANA CUJAN. I contacted a 3rd cousin of mine and he told me that he didn't know either.

Has anyone heard of Ana Cujan? If so, is it possible that there is a printed source on her?
