Hi Frank,

I know it's been a long time and I hope you will receive this. My name is Rachel and I'm Philip's daughter. I found this site and was amazed to see your messages. I also saw that my dad had not responded and wanted to respond for him.

Did your grandad - Albert, have a sister called Lily? We do not have that much information on Jack, he was born in 1880ish and fought with the durham light infantry in WW1.

He did live in Tunbridge Wells and was a butcher.

He had two children with Dora, as my dad said earlier called, John and Dorothy.

John Arthur Medhurst is my great grandad and he married Betty Turnbull.

Does this ring any bells?

Sorry for the long reply.
Many Thanks
Rachel Medhurst :)
