Hi Neil,

Charles and Sarah Measures - greengrocer's of 11 Russell Sq were my wife's ggg-grandparents. I've only just found this thread and see that I've recently covered similar ground to yourself - I have the 1851 census records for Measures in the city of Leicester for instance. We've looked at the St. Margaret's parish records back to ~1795 and have Charles' parents as James Measures (b 31 Jan 1799) and Susanna Laundon. James' parents were a John and Sarah Measures.
I too would be interested in putting together an overall Leicester Measures tree and would be happy to share info with you (and anyone else out there!!).

Cheers
Nigel
