Thanks cousin for the suggested research sites in Va. You seem to be quite knowledgeable when it comes to the History of the family. This has become a very recent passionate obsession for me. My mom died 2 years ago and had told me of the family but knew very little beyond her own grandparents. I want to learn as much as possible. I'm an obstetrician/gynecologist in western NC who grew up in Columbus Co., NC. would be interested in any info on our extended family and how we ended up in so many places!!!!
