From the Weekly Recorder of Chillicothe, Ohio of Jan. 15, 1820


DEPARTED THIS LIFE, on the evening of the 14th of December last, WILLIAM MEANS, jun (son of Col. John Means) in the 19th year of his age.

The family, of which he was a member, having removed, in October last, from Spartanburgh District, South Carolina, had settled on Three Mile Creek, Adams county, Ohio.......On Saturday the 27th of November, William complained of not being well, but continued at work until evening; when his ever became so high that he betook himself to his bed - to which he was closely confined until his death.....................
