According to info from Martha Mealer Smith obtained from Oscar Mealer (James Thomas's last child) Lucy was James' second wife.
"James Thompson died in 1947 and is buried in
Altus, Okla.He had George who died in Littlefield, Tex, a Lucy Mae who went to Amarillo, Abb who went to Sherman and was killed in a train wreck and Hoke who
went to Oklahoma City . He then married a Lucy Flournay and had Ralph J, Royal
Walton, a Albert G. Adaand Ovie Lee, Allen Willaim Amos and Oscar who was
born in Norman Okla."

George was my grandfather and told my dad he changed the spelling of his name (Mealor to Mealer) to avoid being found when he ran away from home to join the Army shortly after WW1.
That probably isn't true because Ovie Lee (his half brother) had a son named Orvile Lee that my dad knows as cousin "Barlow" and he spells his last name the same way Mealer.

If anyone has any info on James Thomas' first wife, I believe her name was Ann or Annie and her maiden name was Tinnie, Tenny, or Tennie. They were probably married near Newnan, GA. I'd appreciate any info on my great grandmother. Thanks
