Meadows/Meaders/Meadors family confusion

Can anyone explain to me the use of these last names? The reason I'm confused is I have a daughter Meadows whose father is Meadors/Meaders. Was this the case? Or do I have the wrong information?

Doras Meadows m: Nathaniel Vise, Sr.
fa: William Meadors
mo: Ann Randolph/Randolf

The time I have spent on this is ridiculous.
