There is a Gordon in my Mead lineage (all though it's not in my direct line - just one of the many branches): Bessie Gordon who married Stanley Haigh Mead (1896-1961). Stanley Mead. Not sure if that's your Gordon or if they intermingled somewhere else.

Stanley and Bessie were married on November 8, 1922. Bessie was born on July 12, 1901 in New York, New York Co. NY. She died about 1966 in Bridgeport, Fairfield Co. CT. She was the daughter of Michael Gordon and Minnie Applebaum.

Stanley's line from his father back: Percival Hogg Mead (yes, Hogg!), Milo Milton Mead, Samuel Mead, Benjamin Mead, Samuel Mead (my line is through his older brother), William Mead, Matthew Mead, Richard Mead, Richard Mead. Stanley was born on March 8, 1896 in MN. He died on January 6, 1961 in Bridgeport, Fairfield Co. CT.
