You have a great point about Mead being listed as the surname in the original posting. I would still love to know where that came from (marriage record etc.) I would also like to see if I could get a marriage record for Martha A. (possibly Mead) and William C. Crawford (married about 1867). Perhaps going to the Polk Co., Arkansas genweb project is my next step. I am also looking to find anything on William B. Mead (B. abt. 1785 in England) baptismal records etc. That is where the line stops,
