My file has a card for him as follows: Born 1806 in Virginia, married Sally Clay Apr. 25, 1832. He died in Shannon, Mo. (no date given). Sally Clay born 1815 in Tenn. One child listed: Adam Monroe (jr.) born 28 Apr 1853 in Eminence, Shannon Co., Mo. Wm. Martin Justice of the Peace (apparently performed marriage). Source: "Callaway Co., MO Marriage Records 1821-1871".
Adam Jr. is listed in the IGI for Texas. Married 22 Jun 1889 Alvard, Wise Co., Texas, Georgianna Pearl Washburn (B. 1873 in Texas, died 1949 in Colorado.) Adam died 1 March 1941 Carnegie, Cadde, Okla. One child Minnie Belle b.1895, married ______ Beadle. They lived also in Wichita
