Hello Paul,
Abraham was my 4-G Grandfather. Your information seems to track well with my findings. Over the years I've made several research trips to Vermont with somewhat mixed results. I do have a complete copy of Lydia's pension request (11 pages) if that would be of use. Send me your e-mail address if you would like it. It's 597KB PDF file.
Lydia was the 2-G Granddaughter of Myles Standish, was born in Norwich, CT and lived in Preston, CT. She married Abraham in Williamstown, MA in 1778. They moved to Vermont after the war and raised a family of 10 children.
I also live in CT and have access to Ida Meacham Strobridge's Meacham Family genealogy notes housed in the CT Historical Society Library if you need a lookup. There are numerous boxes of not too well organized papers so researching for specific facts or persons can be a bit of a chore.I'd love to digitize them but I'm not sure if the library would allow it.
