Mr. Stevens,
I have done some research on Dr. Daniel B B Meacham the son of Dr. James Meacham of Greene Co AL
I know Daniel was the grandson of Banks Meacham buried in Fort Mill SC and the son of Dr. James MEacham
Banks Meacham, born 15 Jul/Jan 1748 in Sussex County VA (probably in the Nottaway River area), baptised 4 Sep 1748 died 24 Feb 1820; married (1) Jemima Hancock 17 Nov 1774, born 9 Dec 1752, died 1784 at age 32, possibly from complications arising from birth of daughter Jemima. They had 6 children.
Banks Meacham remarried (2) widow Elizabeth Andrews Person 6 Dec 1785 in Greensville County VA.At some time after this marriage, Banks and Elizabeth moved to Mecklenburg County NC, which is right on the NC/SC state line. Banks Meacham is buried in the Flint Hill Baptist Cemetery near Ft. Mill SC. They had 8 known children (!).
One of Daniel's son named Frederick "Fred" is buried in Tuscaloosa Co AL in Big Creek Cem he is listed only as F Mecham 12-25-1911 age 53
Daniel's full name is possibly Daniel Bernard Barney Meacham
