I have a list of Alfred, ME Cems. but no Davis listed on Fort Ridge.
#38 Unknown .55 miup Ft Ridge to a point where Ft Ridge bears of to the R & a pvt lane cont on @.1 mi along the lane w/a stone wall on L to a point where another stone wall joins the 1st. Cem is on the Ely side of 2nd stone wall where it joins the 1st. Engraved stones have disappeared.
#39 Hall-Nordberg.4 mi up Ft Ridge Has Halls & Marshalls in it. I believe this is the one you mentioned visiting.
#40 Marshall 1.4 mi from intersection of Gore Rd & Ft Ridge Rd. Take R hand forkin Rd & cross the big power line. Cem is on left @20 ft from the edge of the power line right of way. 2 marble foot stones inscribed H.M. & S.B.C.M. One sunken grave. 1856 Map shows Marshalls living in the area. According to"Early Families of Alfred, Maine" by Frederick R.Boyle 2006 "Henry Marshall (b. c 1828 d. 1870)is buried in a cemetery further up Ft Ridge Road with siblings, Samuel B.C. and Sarah Marshall."
