Rothsay,Scotland ca 1862 ( DVR) (1868,g.s.) daughter of John and Betsey (McCarty),d.Sanford 11 Dec 1902,aged 39 yrs (VR);m. (2) Mary ( Smith) Wallace,b.Straffordshire england 20 Aug 1873 (DVR) (1874 g.s.),daughter William and Rebecca ( Bright) Smith d. Sanford 29 June 1937 ( VR) She m.(2) Sanford 24 Nov 1920 ( VR) George B Savageau.In 1910 his stepson Arthur Wallace age 16, and his mother in law,Rebecca Smith ,were living in Alexander Cuningham's household.Alexander Cunningham came to America by way of the port of Boston in Apr 1892 and his family followed in June on the "Prussian." He worked for Goodall Worsted and was a drum major for the Salvation Army.The family lived on Brook Street as early as 1902.The research of Debra Cunningham of Wells has been invaluable in documenting this family.
