Its been reported that Sarah Jane Moody (Butterfield) & Urania W. Moody (Preston) are suppose to be daughters of Daniel Moody & Eliza in Parsonfield, Maine, but Urania's gravestone in Clinton, Me.lists her as being born 8 Dec 1829. & Sarah's gravestone in Dover, NH lists her as being born 9 July 1829. That would make them only 7 months apart.
Sarah Jane Moody of Parsonfield, Maine was married to Welbee Jackson Butterfield in Lowell, Ma. on Feb 27 1853. I have their marriage certificate and it lists Sarah Jane Moody's parents as Daniel Moody & Eliza. Can anyone shine any light on this confusion of births. I do not have Urania's birth certificate, but any postings or information on the Moody's I have seen has place them as sisters.
Help! Help! I think one of the other doesn't belong in the
Daniel Moody Eliza Moody (Sargent) line.
