Hi, I am looking for information on the parents of Joshua Perkins (b. 1799) who was probably born in York County, Main. He married Elizabeth Jordan on 25 Jan 1826. They had 2 children: Sarah Hannah and Henry Chase. Joshua later moved to Wells Indiana. Married my great, great grandmother Rebecca Park on 25 Feb 1858. They had 3 children Lymon B Perkins, James E, and Tristram Matthew. .
There is some speculation that we come from the Perkins lineage that resided in Ufton Court, Ufton Nervet, Berkshire (Richard Perkins/ Lady Elizabeth Marvyn etc.).
