Mrs. Elizabeth Gardner married Robert Eliot Gerrish, son of Col. Timothy Gerrish and Sarah Eliot. Robert was born 18 Sept. 1708 and died ca 1781. According to *Maine Probate Abstracts, Vol. 13 (1775-1783), York County, his will was probated 22 March 1783.
Robert and Elizabeth had two daughters, Abigail Gerrish, who married Roger Mitchell, and Sarah Gerrish, who married Roger Deering/Dearing.
Abigail Gerrish was born ca 1745 and died 17 Dec. 1815, age 70. She married Roger Mitchell on 23 Nov. 1772. He died 10 May 1817. Both are buried in the Safford Plot located on the right at the end of Hoyt's Island Lane (Kittery or Kittery Point?).
I'm seeking Elizabeth's maiden name and the first name of her previous husband Mr. Gardner.
