Slater family of Springvale, Maine early 1900's

I am hunting for any information on the Slater family who lived in Springvale,me. in the late 1800's-early 1900's. J.S.Thomas Slater(called Thomas)was born in England in 1799, married Anna Beadle from Sanford,me born 1795. They had two kids Ellen and Samuel. Samuel was born in Orange Creek,N.Y. in 1835. Samuel married Hannah Buzzel and they had several kids including my ggreat grandmother Laura who married Charles Hussey. Somehow we are related to Samuel Slater who started the Cotton Mills in Rhode Island. I have heard my cousins have the key to the original mill door locks. They were passed down in the family. Thank you for any info anyone can give me. Tammy
