Thanks Sheri,

I know that Jonathan was in Biddeford in 1850, but he was living with his mother and some of his siblings. Meriam and his two daughters are not there with him and in fact, I am unable to find them at all in the 1850 or 1860 census. Meriam shows up in the 1870 census in South Hadley, MA. I know it is her because that is where she died and was buried. Funny thing - her death record lists her spouse at the time of her death as Jonathan - even though he had long since been married to Margaret Gamage and was living with her in South Bristol, ME. Weird!!
