Have a William Clark who died 1782 but apparently just dropped down from the sky fully grown. He served in the French and Indian War during the 1760‘s, quite possibly with Col Jonathan Bagley‘s MA Regiment. I do have information that places him in Kittery, Maine 1763 - 65 shipbuilding with his good friend Robert Wilson “after the disbanding of the war.” He was a sailor/fisherman/lumberman and early settler in the Campobello,(NB, Canada) and Pembroke, Maine area. Married Susannah Woodward b 23 Aug 1736 Sudbury, Middlesex, MA d ?, daughter of John Woodward b 17 April 1692 Sudbury, Middlesex MA and Saphira Moor b 4 Aug 1701 Sudbury, Middlesex, MA d 9 Feb 1738/9 Sudbury, Middlesex, MA. If someone could look up any male Clarks for me b 1700 - 1740 so I can try to and find his lineage, I would be most grateful.
