No relation. I just enjoy browsing through family Bibles up for auction on eBay and trying to connect any genealogical info provided by the seller to those that might find it interesting or worth pursuing. I am not the seller! Here is what I found:
This appears to have been owned by 2 families. First, one Mary Curtis of Wells, Maine owned this from 1811 to 1819. Secondly, owned by Masterson Young. On the back of the New Testament title page, is a family history (written in ink) of the Young family.
Here is what I can make out:
-Joel Young, b. Jun 1759 - d. 5 May 1828, father of Masterson Young.
-Sally Young, d. 4 Mar 1832
-Mary (Masterson's mother) b. Apr 1757 - d. 29 Sep 1832
-Joseph Bourn (Masterson's father-in-law) b. Apr 1744 - d. 16 Oct 1833
- Masterson's wife d. 29 Mar 1834, age 54.
