Thanks for the newspaper checkups. The reason I mentioned incorporation is because John Harvell's father (born in 1736 in Chelmsford, MA) made a habit of incorporating towns. The first he was involved in was Amherst, NH, and the second was Madison, ME. In the latter case he is named on the incorporation paper which was preserved in state papers as being the person responsible, with 49 others signed underneath. If the paper had remained in Madison it would have been lost in the tragic fire of 1892 when all records burned. Then I noticed the coincidence that John, Jr. arrived in Robbinston about the time that town was incorporated. I won't continue searching for him now, as he must have been buried and his stone broken, if there ever was one. He wouldn't have been put in a separate cemetery from his son Almon, who outlived him.
