Sounds like a match! The Bridges who came from Hingham MA lived in Marion next door to my Huckins ancestors. Not only was my grandfather's grandmother a Bridges (sister to Edwin) but grandfather's ggrandmother was a daughter of Abraham Bridges SR making her his mother's aunt. Edwin's brother Elihu Bridges also married a Huckins and their son Ambrose's wife ended up being my grandfather's step-mother! I have also wondered if the Catherine Davis was a sister to the Caroline Davis some have as married to Charles Winfield Bridges (another brother). I have him as married to a Stanhope who was an Aunt to my grandfather's mother. Its very confusing to keep these families straight with all the intermarrying that went on back then.

As for your census question I have started the process and will work more on it as time permits. The 1900 census is not indexed in my subscription service but I have looked through the Marion ME pages (you can find these under Washington County, district 204 and the Marion pages are mixed between pages from Dennysville). Did not find them in Marion. Next I went to Cutler Road section of of East Machias as that is where Emery and Edna lived in 1920 but no luck.

By the way sometimes Edwin's name is listed as Edward. I have his second wife's name as Sally but this is probably Sarah. In the 1880 census I now see Sally is quite a bit younger than Edwin and they have Carrie, Harvey (Harry) Rosie, Edna, Albert, and lives in Marion with the father Abraham so he must have married immediately after his first wife's death.

Thanks for the names of Edwin's other children. I'm still working on Machiasport census and will get back to you if I find anything.
