yes....those Davis' were my relatives...my 5th great grandfather was there by 1805 and there is a founder of it James Davis who moved there - a Presbyterian Priest - who I believe was an originator that I am trying to find my relation to. I have posted questions about that on other boards.

I had contact with a Civil War Vets graves group that I told I would forward the info to when I got it...he got me the info on Chalmette...

I look forward to what you have transcribed... I know that William does indeed have a grave in Louisiana and probably just a marker in Liberty. I am just wondering about his brother Charles if he is there....and what the markers say.
