ancestor in hiding-William Ladd

I would think that's where mine were....I have one William Ladd, born abt 1803 in either Belmont or Northport(belmont originally on 1850 census, crossed out, and northport entered?),married one Hannah Tyler in 1848, sired 3 children(Ambros. Elleneh, and William), and apparently died in 1853. cause of death unknown....parentage unknown. I have exhausted myself trying to tie him to someone. maybe someone has had better luck. if so, I'd love to hear from you.
