GREER'S Corner

Does anyone know how GREER'S Corner derived its name and where it is located? Am researching the GREER families from Waldo County particularly the families descended from James GREER, Sr. and wife Sarah GOODELL/ GOODALE . James and Sarah died in Belmont, now Morrill, Waldo County. Would appreciate any information on GREER'S Corner, and GREER'S bog.
Thank you

Marge PERRY
