Gridley Parkman,47, is still in Palmyra in the 1860 census, and he is a farmer. Others in family were wife Betsey,40, and children Seldon, in his 20's, Lydia A.,17,Mary A.,14,Preston F.,8, Christiana,3, and Dora D.,1. There are other Parkman families in Palmyra. 1850 lists him as Gredley and a laborer. Betsey,Seldon,Lydia, Mary, and Alvah,1, are listed in the family as is Ezra ?Gibson(not sure of last name), 53, laborer. I didn't check earlier census but could if needed. Good luck with your research. K
