Hello: In Vicki McKinnon's book she lists your William, but he is one of those for whom she has little ancestral history. It is typed on a separate page (with others) at the end of the book. Here is what she writes: William Foster Williamson was born 19 Sep. 1814. (No wife is given.) His parents were the Honorable William D. Williamson of Bangor (Maine),b. 31 July 1779, and Jemima Montague. The parents of William D. (Judge)were George Williamson, of Canterbury, Connecticut and wife Mary. Vicki entitles this grouping "Judge Williamson's rough tree out of Conn. & MA." I imagine she found William D. Williamson's background in a Bangor historical report on people in public office. I know of no way to contact Ms. Williamson regarding her book. Good luck, Kathleen
