Scott: I am presently searching for data on James Campbell said to have been born in Bowdoin 1810 to Robert Campbell and wife Rhoda. James married in 1833 at Franklin County, ME Emily Odell. I have located a James Campbell b.1810 ME in the Federal Census records: 1840 at Troy, Geauga Co., OH; 1850 in Bound, Kent Co., MI with wife Emily, b.ME and 1860 in Lowell, Kent Co., MI. Their children Sarah, Mary and Eldrige. Sarah married Philander Riker in 1862 and in 1870 resided at Orange, Ionia Co., MI. Robert and wife Rhoda and several of their children stayed in Franklin Co., ME. There are several Campbell burials in the Butterfield Cemetery of Farmington, ME. I wish to find proof that the Emily in OH and MI is the Emily Odell of Strong, dau/o Thomas & Elizabeth Waugh from whom I descend. If you have Campbell ancestry for Robert I would appreciate receiving any clues. Thanks. Geo in PA
