Annie McBurnie- age 66 is a widow in the 1900 census for Bridgewater, Aroostook County. She is listed with son Edman- age 28. Next door is Odber McBurnie- age 31 and family all on page 103.
On page 102- William J. and Lillian and children Etta V.,Alden and James.Lillian's father was born in Jamacia.
In Mapleton, Aroostook Co.-in the 1900 census was-
Edgar- age 35, wife Clarrise, children William, Edgar and Arthur.
In the on line Maine Marriage Index there was in Mapleton-Alden McBurnie and Verna Ridgewell m. in 1914 and Etta McBurnie to Eben Bolstridge of Ashland in 1912
The only McBurnie in the Kennebec County cemstery CD was Florence Angell McBurnie 1874-1931. She was burried with Dorothea Wilder Parkhill 1900-1970 and Charles Wheeler Wilder 1867-1933.They were in Belgrade- Pine Grove Cemetery , sec 2.
The social security death index has 14 McBurnies born in Maine with their birth and death dates. I see Alden died in 1972 and Verna died in 1987- both in Bath, Maine
