In 1994 the Woolwich Historical Society published a book-
History of Woolwich, Maine- A Town Remembered. There are several references to your Preble family(even a ship with Eb's name) I am sure if you called the town hall they could tell you how to obtain a copy- if you have no luck e-mail me and I will copy the pages. It is a delightful book and since you have family in it it would be worth the purchase!
