I enjoyed all you photos- thank you for sharing them with us all. I have a son who is with the Fire Dept in OOBeach so the old fireman shots were great. I was interested in more about John Jones Marks- did he get his middle name Jones from a Jones ancester? His features look very much like my father-in-law- James C. Jones. James grew up in Manchester, Augusta area but spent several years in the Bath area. He worked for Hyde Windlass during the war..I am working on his Jones line in Maine. I have his father Frederick( b. c. 1880) and his grandfather Thomas(b.1843) who was living in Manchester at the time of the 1900 census. I am always on the look out for further information.
