In a book I have, "Piscataquis County Directory 1907", The following Browns are listed for Brownville:
Brown, Clarence, laborer, Henderson P.O.
Brown, George G, laborer, Henderson P.O.
Brown, Hutty, laborer, Henderson P.O.
Brown, Morrill S, laborer
Browne, Wallace, conductor, Henderson P.O.
And in Orneville:
Brown, E.E., farmer, (Mrs.)
Brown, Lizzie, student
Brown, Royal, attorney at law
I realize this is 100 years forward from your Browns, but thought it might be a link.
