Hi,
I would like information about the Wellington, Maine historical society. My ancestor, Valentine Dean, was born in Wellington, Maine on May 12, 1828, son of Elias Dean ( b. May 12, 1799 ) and Ruth Head ( b. Aug. 10, 1801 ). This is according to his son, Adams M. Dean's, marriage record in Sebec, ME.
What I am searching for in the Wellington area of Maine is any information concerning Valentine Dean and any of his siblings; and information concerning his father, Elias Dean, and his family origins.
I have done extensive research on this Dean line and on the female lines that married into it. I just need to find info on Elias Dean and his parents and family origins. I would be willing to share the information that I have already gathered on this family. I look forward to hearing from you.
