There are 7 known children of Eli HAMBLET/HAMLET and wife Mary Richardson of Brownville: Mary R., Charles R. (both born in Dracut, MA), Dana R., Anna, Ephraim Richardson, Joseph Bradley, and Laura Jane. (I think all the "R's" stand for Richardson.) The baptisms of the youngest five are recorded in Brownville, ME. If they are given in order of age, then Anna would have been born between 1813 and 1821. I find no further record of her, although Laura's obituary in Jan. 1899, says she leaves a sister. Mary was already dead, so unless there are undiscovered children, that would have to be Anna. She could have married before 1850, which would explain her absense from the family in that census. Does anyone out there recognize the name ANNA HAMBLET/HAMLET? I've checked all the Brownville records that I know to exist: VRs, church, census, cemetery. I've checked with the Brownville-Brownville Junction Historical Society.
